Together with Skype, the world's largest VoIP service recently acquired by Microsoft, this seems to be the first project other companies have joined forces with once unreachable social website brand with 750 million users - "Facebook" .
To get started you should visit https://www.facebook.com/videocalling for instructions.
First-time users will need to download a small Java file but after that, you just need to open a chat box with your Facebook friend and click on the video camera icon to start a call. It's free for now, but there's speculation that Skype will eventually charge Facebook credits to make certain kinds of calls.
